Today was a good day.

After about two weeks of pretty crappy weather, I was finally able to lay out in the sun again. I think today was the nicest it’s been so far this year. About 66 degrees, 5 mph winds, partly cloudy with a bright sun in the sky, today made me smile. Today was one of those days where the sky was white. Not white from the low clouds, but white mixed with the blue of the sky making a beautiful and bright color. It was absolutely gorgeous and I was glad that I was able to get some much needed sun. I tend to be the type of person who likes cloudy and rainy days because I really love rain. Spring is probably my favorite season, and I’m upset that I have to spend it stuck at home. Lately it’s been too cold to go outside in rainy or sunny weather.

With all of my time inside, a nice day spent outside was exactly what I needed. I was also able to take my dog, Stryker, for a long walk today with my mom. It’s supposed to rain for the next few days too, so I was just happy that I could get outside while I still could. Getting days like these are nice during a time in history such as this one. With so much pain and loss going on throughout the world, a nice day like today was a little refreshing.
