Ever since I was little, I have looked forward to going to college. I grew up in Mount Pleasant, MI, so I kind of always knew I wanted to go to Central Michigan University. When I would dream about going to college, this is not what I expected. Who could have predicted a global pandemic the year I went to college? I thought my first semester was going to be awful… at first. Then I met my roommates who became some of my closest friends and favorite people on this planet. This semester wasn’t anything like my roommates or I thought it was going to be, but we made the most of it. We bonded, went shopping to decorate our room, lived during a pandemic, and did all of this while being enrolled at CMU and keeping up with our studies. This semester would have been a lot worse if my roommates weren’t here with me. I could not be happier to have such amazing people in my life, and I can’t wait for spring! Here are a few of my favorite moments.
