For this in class assignment, we were tasked to make portraits with our class partner, showcasing who they are as a person, or some of the things they think describe themselves most. We set up two backgrounds, one black and one white, and then experimented with backlights, set up, power of the strobes, etc.

I loved this assignment because of the quality and personality that portraits can give and show of the subject. We took almost the entire 3 hours of class for this assignment, which I actually liked because it gave lots of time for trying different things and becoming more comfortable working with everyone.
