This week in class, we practiced fashion photography for our assignment due next week. I had the pleasure of working with some models from a Magazine run by students on campus, Verge. We did a studio shoot and a location shoot.

For location, we chose the Bioscience Building. Upon first glance, I saw an interesting plant wall that I wanted to use to practice with Maggie. After feeling good about some shots, I moved to the hallway, which looked architecturally interesting in the way in which you can see four floors up to the ceiling. I wanted to capture this in the photos best I could without taking away from the model.

For studio fashion, Dylan came prepared with a white jacket and outfit that brought a great level of contrast to the photos. It was fun getting to use the backlight to light up his hair and pants the best I could, without taking too much away from the jacket and glasses.
